Essential Oil Recipes

If you are interested in essential oil extraction but don’t know where to begin, we have several recipes available as a resource for learning how to extract your own oils. These also provide a great opportunity to get started with the essential oil maker!

Even if you’re familiar with essential oil distillation and are simply interested in trying out a new recipe, please feel free to use our recipes below for extracting your own oils. Once you have chosen your plant to extract from, you can then utilize our EssenEx essential oil distillation kit. Freeze an ice core with a special mold in your freezer to condense the vapors produced when the plant material is placed in the microwave.

Our essential oil maker is designed in a way so that it protects the condensate from overheating, which in turn maintains the quality of your distilled oil.

Essential Oil Recipes

Our essential oil recipes include citrus, geranium, lavender, oregano, peppermint, essential, spearmint, rosemary, etc. However, these are the ones that we have personally tested with our own essential oil maker; there are other types of plants to experiment with as well.
